Hello people.
I don't have a book review blog. I have, however, occasionally put up some book reviews on my blog. I thought there was a vague, slight offchance that somebody here might be interested in them at some point.
At present, there's only three, though I do intend to have many more eventually. Those three are:
http://vacuouswastrel.wordpress.com/2009/02/22/a-canticle-for-leibowitz-reaction-part-i/A review of A Canticle for Leibowitz.
http://vacuouswastrel.wordpress.com/2009/04/07/a-canticle-for-leibowitz-reaction-part-ii/The follow-up - some of my thoughts attempting to untangle the themes in the book
http://vacuouswastrel.wordpress.com/2009/04/26/fatherland-reaction/A review of Fatherland (assumes people know what happens)
http://vacuouswastrel.wordpress.com/2009/07/06/reaction-dhalgren-by-samuel-r-delany/A review of Dhalgren.
It should be said straight away that these are not 100% spoiler free, though I try not to have more spoilers than I would like in a review of a book I haven't read (except, as I say, Fatherland). That is, if you like to come to books entirely pure and fresh and without preconceptions, don't read these. [When I have some more reviews up, I'll compile my marks in spoiler-free format]. However, I don't think I give away significant or surprising plot developments - I just give a general shape and direction of the book.
